Ahwahan was started with the aim of bringing changes around the surroundings of Paralakhemundi. The above quote by Gandhiji says that If you want to see change elsewhere, then first initiate the change within yourself. We will be focusing on hygienic practices in the villages under various programs under Ahwahan. So we decided that first we will start small events like starting a campaign on cleaning the campus of our college.

Vision : Campus cleanliness
Mission: Involve maximum number of students to maintain cleanliness of the campus
Objective: To make our college campus pollution free
Rationale: We clean our homes why not college campuses
Venue: CSREM college campus
Strategy:
               1. Talking to the students
               2. Organizing events on campus cleanliness
               3. Canteen awareness
               4. By placing dustbins
               5. By the technique of Gandhigiri / Social embarrassment
